Bite Out Quarter

Thurston Magic presents "Bite-Off Quarter." A routine that showcases a magician bites off a piece of a US Quarter and restores it! As seen on TV!

Ash Pen Pro

Upon meeting a spectator, the performer asks the spectator to write their name on a file card. The file card is burned with a lighter and allowed to burn to ashes in an ashtray. The performer gathers a handful of these ashes and rubs them into his forearm. As the ashes spread over the performer’s arm, the name of the spectator is revealed!!!

This special pen will allow you to perform the "ashes on arm" effect not only with great ease, but almost impromptu. In addition, it will open the doors to a wider range of presentational approaches.

This method is more simple and practical than any other method previously devised. The special pen will produce sharper and clearer messages on your arm or the back of your hand. In addition, you will now be able to make a message appear on a spectator’s arm, without the aid of a stooge.

Odd Quad by Fooler Doolers

A triple climax routine with a Technicolor finish!

Effect: Four aces are shown and one is selected by a spectator. The chosen ace is shown to be "odd" because it's the only RED backed card in the BLUE backed packet! A different ace is chosen and this second selection now becomes the new "odd" card because it's the only BLUE backed card backed card in the RED backed packet! The first "odd" card has a red back and the second "odd" card has a blue back. The two remaining cards also prove to be "odd" because their backs are YELLOW and GREEN! All four Aces have different colored backs! Everything can be examined and you are instantly reset.

Odd Quad comes complete with FIVE poker sized cards printed by the U.S. Playing Card Company (the extra card is for a more advanced handling), detailed written instructions including an advanced handling), full-color packaging and a performance/explanation DVD which includes a live performance at the Magic Castle. Wow! That's a lot of value for only $12.95!

Simple magic tricks for kids give your child the opportunity to go from enjoying magic to amazing his or her friends with tricks, and doing this in nearly no time at all. With a little practice, your child can be doing magic shows for the whole neighborhood.

Here are a few simple magic tricks for kids to help you get started ...

Make Your Spring Puppets Alive - no longer will your prop be just a bedspring with fur. Instead, you'll learn how to make this hilarious prop seem to take on a life of its own. Once you learn how to properly handle your spring animal, it will become one of the most popular parts of your act, adding tons of comedy - and guaranteed laughs. The main thing to remember is that it's not that difficult to learn hot to make your spring animal a happy-go-lucky part of your act. It's just that no one has ever shown you - until now!

Appearing Crayon - the performer presents the standard coloring book routine, at the end of the routine he vanishes the color out of the book and dumps out a big pile of crayons. He takes one of the crayons and tosses it into a little paper bag. The performer then reaches down into the bag and produces an extremely large crayon that could not possibly fit in the bag! The look of astonishment and amazement from the audience is worth a thousand bucks!

Baby Tail Spin - you show a picture of the cutest little ol' donkey you ever saw. But the poor fellow is missing his tail. Slide the donkey picture a very visible 5 x 8.5 inches into an envelope with a large window. A child pretends to throw the tail, and when you pull out the donkey, the tail is stuck to his nose. His eyes are crossed and his ears bent back in surprise! Kids howl! It's not the helper's fault -- you know how stubborn donkeys are!

Put it back in, try again, and this time when you pull it out, the tail is completely gone. You look all around for it, and suddenly the kids scream their lungs out because the tail is hanging out of the back of your pants! Trust me on this, the children will weep with joy!

Big Bunny Goshman - the magician displays a red sponge ball and claims that he will actually make it disappear in front of the spectator's eyes. Slowly and methodically, he places the ball into his trouser pocket and claims, "It's gone!" After the groans have died down, he offers to do it again-this time for real. He places the ball on top of his left closed fist and pushes it down inside. When he opens his hand the ball is seen to have changed into a large 7 inches tall sponge rabbit!

Card Castle Magic Bag - an empty bag is shown, from which the magician produces a beautiful mini-card castle. The bag is once again shown to be empty. The magician continues ... producing two more mini-card castles from the empty bag. Comes complete with bag, 3 mini-card castles and instruction sheet.
